A set of two matching demitasse duos by the German porcelain company, KPM Krister, which was later taken over by Rosenthal. Each piece features a filigree gilded geometric pattern with richly gilded rims. The top band of both the cup and saucer are coloured, respectively, light pink and light green ‘underneath’ the filigree pattern. Overall these two duos make a lovely impression. The backstamp dates their manufacture to 1952-1965. The bidding price is for both duos together.
All four pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some pattern loss, particularly on the ‘back’ side of the green cup (see the third picture) and some very fine scratches from usage. The cups measure 6 cm across (excluding the handle) and are 5.6 cm high. The saucers are about 11.5 cm across and about 1 cm high.
Postage is R60 through SAPO or R100 with PostNet for BOTH duos. Combinations done at R10 extra per item. Please add 3% to the sale price if you wish your parcel to be insured against loss by SAPO. I offer FREE postage through SAPO for porcelain orders of R500 or more, so do have a look at my other listings for possible combinations
