An unusual and stunning pair of very old large eastern / oriental earthenware vases, relief salamander or stylised dragon detail and vibrantly hand-painted details. There is also remains of heavy gold gilded seen on the vases, with the one vase showing the gold gilding still much more prominently. The vases are in good overall condition, with only minor fleabites seen on the bottom rims as happens with earthenware with age - see photos for details and condition! Most unusual.
Dimensions: each vase stands approximately 33 cm in height and 17 cm in diameter at its widest point.
