Pair of old Hetian jade Wengzhong from Qing Dynasty
Wengzhong originated from a strong man in the Qin Dynasty and was later endowed with the meaning of warding off evil spirits and subduing demons. Since the Han Dynasty, jade Wengzhong has often been carved into small pendants and worn at the waist to pray for peace and ward off evil.
Made of Hetian jade, the jade is warm and moist with natural patina. The carving style is simple and unsophisticated, presenting the typical shape of traditional Wengzhong. The lines of the robe are smooth, with the charm of ancient jade.
Ideal for collectors and antique dealers. Very valuable Worth collecting!!!
