Info: A lovely pair of Rosenthal Krister tea cup and saucers with a floral pattern with gold trim on the edges of the cup, saucer and handles as well as on the base of the tea cup.
The Stamp with the R KPM and the V indicates a date of manufacture of late 1950's and early 1960's.
Stamped with R KPM (Rosenthal Krister Porzellan Manufaktur AG) Krister Germany on the Base.
The original Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur was founded 1831 by Carl Franz Krister in the town of Waldenburg in Silesia and was in 1921 taken over by the Rosenthal group from Selb (Bavaria).
Rosenthal was founded in 1879 as a family business. 
The company founder, Philipp Rosenthal, moved his porcelain painting from Werl (North Rhine-Westphalia) to Selb in Bavaria, where he industrialized in the castle Erkersreuth with his painting workshop. In 1897, Philipp Rosenthal founded the company Bauer, Rosenthal & Co. in Kronach and Philipp Rosenthal & Co. AG. 
In 1921 the company took over the Krister Porzellanmanufaktur in Walbrzych (Silesia). The factory was closed in 1945, but the brand was revived in 1951 and used until 1971. 
Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks or crazing on the cups and saucers, the gold trim and pattern is in very good condition.
