Pair of Vintage German Marzi & Remy Stoneware Wine Jugs (250ml)

This is a pair of genuine vintage German stoneware wine jugs from the manufacturer Marzi & Remy. The jugs are finished with a classic blue and gray salt glaze and have an impressed relief pattern.

The inscription on each jug reads, "TRINKT WIE EURE VATER AUS STEIN DEN WEIN," which translates to "DRINK WINE LIKE YOUR FATHERS FROM STONE." The base of each jug is marked with the "MR" stamp, which was used by the company from 1964 until 1994. The jugs each have a 250ml capacity mark near the top.

The jugs are in excellent, pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or damage. They are sold as a matching pair.
