Beautiful matching pair of vintage fine bone china mugs. Illustrated by renowned architectural artist Janet Shaw, these mugs feature a highly detailed, black pen-and-ink drawing of the legendary Tudor-era Cowdray Ruins located in West Sussex, England.

Each mug is crafted from authentic, translucent fine bone china by Norfolk China in Norwich, England, and finished with a hand-painted 22k gold gilt trim along the top rim, handle, and base. They make a perfect gift for history buffs, lovers of classic English pottery, or an elegant addition to a display dresser.

Made in England, 1990's-2000's.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The china is bright with no chips, cracks, crazing, or internal tea stains. The gold gilt accents show minimal to no shelf wear.
