These bowls are from an era when bowls were permitted to have various biases. The are only two of them, and they are in a very good condition. The grain of the wood from which they are made is visible. I think that they were actually used in Crown Bowls, a for of Lawn Bowls played in the UK.

They were made by Thomas Taylor of Glasgow.

The bag is also in good condition, but is not leather. It is complete with its shoulder strap.

Size of Bag 350mm x 185mm wide. Weight in total 3954 grams. (Bowl 1 1421 grams, bowl 2 1435 grams)
