The Palm Centro made its debut in Feb 2008 as the smallest and lightest Palm OS based smartphone to date. It is the third new model from Palm after the Treo 755p and Treo 500v. Palm basically took all that's good about the 755p, and packed it into a much leaner and lighter body. The Centro brings a number of high end smartphone features including 3G wireless data and a full qwerty keyboard
Weighing 124 g with dimensions of 107.2 x 53.5 x 18.6 mm the Centro is the smallest smart phone offered from Palm to date. It includes a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with video capture capabilities, microSD card slot (supporting up to 4GB microSD cards [The Centro can utilize higher capacities but the 'Card Info' application will only report a card size of 4GB]), touch screen navigation and a QWERTY keyboard. The stock battery allows for up to 3.5 hours of continuous talk time.
