Hardcover printed and published by Mercantile-Atlas Printing Co, Cape Town, no date, but the preface by W.G. Hoal of the Attorney-General's Office, Cape Town, is dated 9th October 1937. The card jacket is whole, but worn and rubbed, has several small tears to the edges, with some spotting, and a sunned spine. The green boards are square and solid, but have small shallow patches of insect damage to the edges. Internally, some light and intermittent foxing / spotting to some of the pages. Two fold-out charts are presnt, one of which has been creased on the spine side. A 5cmx5cm corner of the last endpaper has been torn off.
