NOTES	PAMWE CHETE ( Shona for"Together only" ), is the amazing story of the legendary Selous Scouts formed in 1973 by the author of this book, Luitenant-Colonel Ron Reid-Daly. The Selous Scouts were the foremost proponents of pseudo operations in guerilla counter-insurgency warfare during the Rhodesian bush war. Through innovation and bravery, they managed to wreck untold havoc and destruction on the country's enemies. This unique regiment which traversed cultural and racial differences, produced soldiers that earned the unit, one Grand Cross of Valour, nine Silver Crosses and 22 Bronze Crosses amongst other awards. Disolved in the 1980's for political expediency, they were used as a scapegoat for the untold atrocities perpetrated during the bush war. The book was first published in 1982 as "Selous Scouts Top Secret War".
