This is high quality Camcorder records onto MiniDV tapes.

It features 3 CCD image sensors, which gives excellent clarity and definition. It is light, compact and has a very long battery life. Zoom is 10x Optical.

This unit can be used with PC-based video editing software, thanks to its built-in FireWire port. It can also be used to play back, record and dub MiniDV tapes.

Accessories include tapes, two batteries, head-cleaning cartridge, wireless- and wired remote controls, AV- and power cables.

It can be used as a digital still camera as well (SD Memory card not provided.)

This is not a HD Camcorder, but the quality is about as good as you can get with SD in this price range.
