Panasonic Portable Video Cassette Recorder NV-8400

Panasonic NV-8400 VHS Video cassette player recorder.

I tried to play a tape on it, but couldn't manage to do so, the tape will reverse, fast forward, play for a few seconds and stop. I could not manage the record function either, do not know if this was due to the tapes we used as we could only manage to find TITANIC Further, if you played the tape and ejected the VHS Head is spinning. The TV control unit controls input towards the Panasonic Colour Tv Camera. The TV control seems to be working as the TV camera unit screen came on. The TV camera unit, I could not manage video onto this display as the VHS cassette player do not want to play or record, further it seems working, as you press the button the TV screen does go on, but I do not know how to operate this unit. Included is a Velbon ms-3 Tripod which is quite a sturdy tripod for this setup.
