3 Recording Modes   -   You can choose from high quality, fine quality and standard play recording settings, each giving you a different recording length and sound quality.

Record Up to 16 Hrs, 30 Mins in SP-Mode   -   The RR-QR170 records for long amounts of time in SP Mode and does not require LP (Long Play) Mode to record up to 16.5 hours. In the past, LP (Long Play) Mode was necessary to maximize recording time, but this often meant sacrificing sound quality. Now you no longer have to choose between sound quality and recording time. 

Digital voice activated system function   -   With a digital Voice Activation System (VAS), the unit begins recording when the high-sensitivity, electret condenser microphone detects a voice, offering hands-free recording. This also helps eliminate wasted recording space.
