Papers in connection with the War in South Africa - Cape of Good Hope 1902 Anglo Boereoorlog.Published by the Cape of Good Hope in 1902 in Cape Town. Printed "By order of Mr Speaker" September 1902
This is 6 sided 3 page document relating to the Anglo Boer War.
The pages are yellowed. Size of paper approx 20cm x 32cmm fragile and yellowed but no markings. Frayed edges.
Considering its importance and age it is in excellent condition. I have never seen another copy in decades of dealing with Anglo Boer war items.
It deals with
(1) the number of Cape Rebels in each district who surrendered and who have been DISENFRANCHISED FOR LIFE.
(2) the number of Cape Rebels in each district convicted under the "Indemnity and Special Tribunals Act 1900" and whether they were convicted as first or second class Rebels, and whether they were voters or non voters.
(3) the number of men in each district awaiting trial for HIGH TREASON, or whose cases are awaiting further investigation Class I or Class II "offenders"
You will likely not get another opportunity to own this item in your lifetime.
Kaapse Rebelle, Anglo Boereoorlog, Tweede Vryheidsoorlog, Boer content.
