 Papers relating to Negotiations between Commandant Louis Botha and Lord Kitchener, March 1901, His Majestry's Stationary Office, seven pages, original, 33 cms x 20.8 cms, signature to front, closed tears, overall condition: very good.
Papers consist of verbatim words of telegrams relating to the negotiations ending with the final refusal of Botha to accept proffered terms.
It would be another fourteen and a half months until the Treaty of Vereeniging was signed on 31 May 1902 ending the Second Boer War.
