The Harvest is an oil painting by a renowned local artist, Portchie. He is well known for his expressionistic and impressionistic bright, warm and happy colours.

Portchie, born Jan Hendrik Viljoen, started his full-time art career at the end of 1994 after selling 100 paintings in one night at a large art exhibition. His iconic blue trees represent the air filtrating through strong trees as blue is a strong colour to Portchie.
