Paperback, 366 pages, 1996, great copy considering its age, some minor spinal and edge creasing, tight, neat pages starting to yellow from age, lovely copy
Stranded with only her broken-down Mustang convertible, Catalina never expects to be catapulted into the Old West with a real-life desperado or to fall deeply into love and unbridled passion with the infamous gunslinger known as ""Kid Creed.""
When her Mustang Convertible's blown gasket leaves Catalina Lane stranded in the Arizona desert, all she hopes for is a tow truck to carry her to the nearest gas station. After being left alone at the altar, Catalina certainly doesn't expect to be swept off her feet any time soon. But when Desperado Jackson Cody whisks her away into the sunset and leads her back in time to the Old West, Catalina joins him for the ride. After all, this infamous gunslinger better known as "Kid Creede" never dreamed of a lovely 20th century lady falling into his hands. But the longer they're together the more she finds himself paralyzed by his dangerous touches and he, hungering for much more than what they have.
Reviews:
- This was a great time travel romance. Catalina was a very adaptable heroine, strong, but not abrasive and she had a few of her own moves to protect herself from strange men. Kid Creede is a great gunslinger - he has his own code of honor and is very vulnerable underneath all of layers of black, I can definitely see why Catalina fell in love with such a sexy man! The secondary characters were well developed and believable and the author had some great villains in the story, too. The book is well written and an enjoyable read......
