Passiflora edulis
20 seeds
"Grinadella"
Passiflora edulis is known as passion flower or grinadella. It is a perennial vine, the fruit of which is cultivated all over the world. The round firm purple fruit often fall from the vine and can then be placed in a sunny window and allowed to turn wrinkly before being eaten. The seed is sown either by soaking overnight in warm water, or rubbing sand paper on the outside and then sowing. Some people report light is a factor in germinating the seed. So vermiculite is a good idea as germination medium as the the seed can be covered and the light can filter through the gaps.
