It will be ordered from our supplier and normally ships in 4 to 7 working daysWhen Patricia Lewis was growing up, seeing the movie Grease (with her mother) proved to be the turning point in her life - the moment at which she made up her mind that she was going to be a singer. Most influential in that film was, of course, Olivia Newton John and especially her rendition of "Hopelessly Devoted To You" which led to the teenage Patricia singing Newton John songs in the privacy of her bedroom, with her hairbrush acting as an impromptu mike.
Now, to pay tribute to one of her all-time favourite singers and role- models, South Africa's own songbird, Patricia Lewis, has recorded an album of songs sung by the Australian singer with the angelic voice.
Among the songs that Patricia covers is the one that made the biggest impression - "Hopelessly Devoted To You" as well as other Grease favourites including "Sandra Dee", "You're The One That I Want" and "Summer Nights". The latter two tracks are performed as duets with Kurt Darren who also makes a star turn with Patricia on "Suddenly". Other well known Olivia Newton John songs - among them "Xanadu" - make an appearance and the album which also includes two medleys.
