Patrick Holo became a full-time artist in 1974 and received a scholarship from the Italian Consulate in 1981 for a year of study in Perugia. Under mentorship of Cecil Skotnes, he opened the Nyanga Art Centre where he taught graphics and sculpture. Unfortunately due to lack of funding the Centre closed in 1990. He has participated in a number of exhibitions nationally and received commissions from Truworths and Kwela Books. This particular linocut framed in glass and dated 1991 is entitled "Enverometal Life" and is number 38 of a limited edition of 50. Original numbering and signature in pencil. Measures 62cm x 52.5cm with frame, linocut itself being 43cm x 32cm. In very good condition. Refer images.
