Here we have on auction a VERY rare pattern 80 SADF era webbing pouch in "donkey brown" ripstop canvas.

This is either a vest or a belt mounted pouch (using the supplied and fitted US made ALICE clips. The pouch is adjustable to accom either (uniquely) a single R1 mag or a 30 rd R4 mag (see pics)!

There are 3 diff closures found on the patt 80 mag pouches - this is the "fixlock" type (Swedish supplied) similar to the clips used on the SA SF (Recce) Niemoller webbing.

The pouch on auction is well used, but in great overall condition. One does not come across these often and a real gem of a find.
