Pattern 1907 Lee Enfield Bayonet with Ammo Pouch - S.A. Police - Used in Rhodesia.
Although this is a Second World War bayonet it was issued to the S.A. Police to be used in Rhodesia.
These ammo pouches were also used by the Rhodesian Forces in the 60's.
Note that is an early strap-on webbing pouch with the bayonet frock sewn on later.
The bayonet was made by Wilkinson and all the markings on it is shown in the photo.
The length of the blade is 43cm and the both the bayonet and scabbard is in a very good condition.
The ammo pouch is in a used condition.
This was a very rare find and this combination of bayonet plus its pouch is extremely hard to get.
