Binding exposed at front and back There is foxing and previous owners name inside Its a good fair copy .This is a very readable contemporary biography of Paul Kruger's life PRIOR to the 2nd Boer War (1899) told by a very,very good friend of Kruger's. To get another  viewpoint read works by  H. Rider Haggard and/or Col.Coete who also wrote accounts of the events in the Transvaal in the 1860's-1890's.
