The current CompactFlash card being used by the Solid State Drive is an A-Data Speedy 4GB. It uses a lot less power than normal magentic hard drives but is also a bit slower especially when smaller read/write operations take place. For optimal performance it is recommended that a high speed card such as the SanDisk Ultra II 8GB is used. Using two of these will result in two ultra speed solid state drives available to the system - offering 16GB of total storage space. SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash cards also feature internal power saving features that make them the most optimal cards for Solid State drives.
