This is excellent RAM. Super Talent may not be familiar to everyone, but it is most certainly not an ""off brand"" -whatever that means. Everyone knows kingston and corsair, but actually this is better. I've used Super Talent for years and it has always performed incredibly well. Super Talent always uses the highest grade Samsung memory, adds the heatsink, and gives you a lifetime warranty. If by off brand you mean ""generic"" you couldn't be more off the mark.
