Purple Sugar Snap Peas have purple pods that can be marbled with green, and grow to 8 cm in length. The inner walls of the pods, as well as the peas themselves, are lime green in colour.

The Purple Sugar Snap Peas are heirlooms. It has fragrant purple-pink flowers, followed by clusters of deep-purple pods filled with delectable green peas. It is best used as shelling peas, to be cooked or dried, you can also enjoy the fresh pods when young and tender, just before the peas form inside the pods.
