This is a medium sized shrub growing to about five feet high and 4 feet in width. It has grey foliage with profuse pale to deep pink flowers up to an inch or more during autumn and winter. Leptospermum thrive in a very wide variety of conditions, excellent in the teeth of a gale but also thriving in hot dry interior conditions. This species is easy to grow and makes a good screen or feature plant, as well as being very hardy and a good off season flowerer. As the delicate pink peach-like blooms form on the old wood on this species care should be taken with pruning. This species grows and flowers well in a very wide variety of conditions and flowers well in sub-tropical conditions.
