Vintage triple layer pearl choker necklace with a clasp adorned with a rubies, emeralds and sapphires in the clasp of 14K gold, as indicated by the "14K585" hallmark. The number 585 is a European standard for 14 karat gold, meaning the metal is 58.5% pure gold. These are Akoya pearls in a triple strand knotted necklace. Each strand holds 37 matching perfectly round 7.5mm pearls, when open the choker is 30cm in length, all with excellent lustre and clean surface.
