The Pearly Boy D6207. It is the very rare version featuring the blue jacket and white buttons.
This jug is incredibly rare as it was only produced for a very short period. Originally the coat was painted first and the buttons individually painted. It was decided this was too intricate, and the buttons were then painted the same colour as the coat. It was then decided that the whole process of buttons was too expensive and the jug was made without buttons whatsoever, as 'Arry.
It was produced for one year only, in 1947. It very rarely ever comes up for auction and when it does attracts very high prices.
