These dolls were made to commemorate the wedding of Princess Ann to Captain Mark Phillips in 1973. The marriage didn’t last. Mark Phillips is the father of Peter and Zara Philips. The princess requested they were raised as commoners. Neither of them, even though the queen‘s grandchildren, is titled. Princess Anne remarried. She reputedly is the hardest working Royal. The queen honoured her for her charitable work by styling her the Princess Royal. She has her Peggy Nisbet swing tag attached. Mark Phillips has lost his. They stand about 20 cm tall. Please add R28 for postage.
