Pelargonium elongatum Seeds - Upright Coconut Geranium - Indigenous Shrub Seeds

Pelargonium is a well known genus in horticulture with numerous cultivars of exotic species (mainly South African) being grown in gardens worldwide.

Pelargonium elongatum or Upright Coconut Geranium as it is commonly known is a small, soft-textured plant that grows up to 25 cm in height and width. The beautiful little gem is easily grown from seed! The young leaves are heart-shaped but become 5-lobed when older, often with a reddish zonal marking. Up to six dainty flowers are borne on long flower stalks, cream in colour with red-wine markings on the two upper, larger petals.

The species name, 'elongatum' refers to the long flowering stalks.
