Pelham Puppets were made in England from the 1940s to when the factory was closed in about 1990. In 1953 they started attaching coloured rings to the wooden control bar that the strings were attached to to make it easier to untangle the strings. This puppet does not have the coloured rings, so I believe him to be pre-1954. His head is made of wood and he is hand painted. During the 1960s they started printing the facial features I am unsure which character this puppet represents. The puppet is in very good condition but the box is fairly knackered. He is one of the Puppets in the junior range. Please add R25 for postage
