THE REEL IS IN VERY GOOD WORKING CONDITION. NO EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE GEARS, SPOOL RELEASE WORKS, RATCHET WORKS AND CLUTCH IS STILL FINE AS WELL. THERE IS SOME CORROSION ON THE SPOOL AND CROSS BARS AND IT HAS THE NORMAL AMOUNT OF SCRATCHES AS CAN BE EXPECTED FROM AN "OLD-TIMER." THE IMAGES ACTUALLY MAKE IT LOOK WORSE THAN IT IS. THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR CHIPS IN THE BAKELITE SIDES.
