This second edition also features facsimile reproductions of the 20 radio talks given by Ken Pennington in 1965; and short biographies on some of the colourful personalities amongst Southern African lepidopterists such as George Arnold and Margaret Fountaine who shook off her conventional Victorian upbringing to travel the world, inspiring two books and having four butterflies named after her.
