This offer is for a mature, healthy clump of Pennisetum Rubrum Fountain Grass, shipped bare-root.

Large root clumps propagated in 5l bags from our mother plants (See pics). This ensures a strong root system and rapid top-growth after planting.

A stunning, water-wise ornamental grass with beautiful arching, burgundy foliage and soft, red-purple plumes. 

Plant Specifications:

Perennial Ornamental Grass (Non-Invasive Sterile Hybrid).  

Mature Size: Approx. 90cm 1.5m once established.  

Full sun to semi-shade. 

Drought-tolerant once established. 

Healthy, viable root division, wrapped for transit.

Essential Care Instructions (Please read before purchase):

• Immediate Planting Required: Your bare-root plant must be unpacked and planted immediately upon arrival.
• Hydration: Submerge the roots in a bucket of water for 30 minutes before planting in a pot or garden bed.
• Water thoroughly after planting, daily, for the first week, then regularly for the next 2-3 weeks to ensure successful re-establishment.
