Overview

• Enterprise-class SOHO wired router with 2 WAN ports and 4 LAN ports
• Used for creating high reliability redundant internet connections, and/or load balancing between two internet connections
• Easily combine 2 internet connections in one of 8 different ways, eg fibre with LTE failover, or 2 LTE connections with load balancing between them
• Legendary Peplink ease of use, build quality and operating reliability - it "just works" and never ever breaks

• 2 x 100Mbps WAN input ports (more than adequate to fully utilise most broadband connections, eg 100Mbps fibre and 50Mbps LTE)
• Front-panel USB port that can be used with USB 4G/LTE dongle to to add a third WAN port

• 4-port LAN switch with 4 x GbE (1Gbps) LAN ports
• WLAN controller (no onboard WLAN, but can be used to control Peplink WLAN devices)

• Very feature-rich but intuitive 'Web user interface - easily configure the device to do exactly what you need
• 8 available balancing algorithms : Failover, Enforced, Priority, Overflow, Least used, Lowest latency, Weighted balance, HTTP Persistence.
• Onboard DHCP server with many auxiliary functions (eg support for local DNS server, local NTP server)
• Included PPTP and IPSec VPN servers
  
• Software has bandwidth / data usage monitoring and control
• Included QoS features for sensitive applications like VoIP
• Can be used with Peplink's "InControl" cloud-based monitoring/management service, or managed locally

Condition

• All items in excellent condition and perfect working order - in daily use until recently
• It served me flawlessly for 9 years and will probably serve you for at least another 10!
• Reason for selling - I upgraded to a Peplink Balance305
• New price of a Balance20 is around US$300 (=R6,000)
