 This sweet chilli pepper is originally from Southern Italy and names after Jimmy Nardello whose mother brought the seeds to the USA in 1887.  It is said to be the sweetest non-bell pepper and considered to be one of the best frying pepper as its fruity raw flavour becomes perfectly creamy and soft when fried.  It is also used fresh, grilled, dried and for general cooking. Plants are very prolific. Fruit ripens to a deep red and can be frozen. It makes a great stuffing pepper and can be strung up to dry for winter use.
