How often is touch ups needed compared to other permanent straighteners? Touch is only needed after 4-6 months, depending on growth of hair. With other straighteners or relaxers, after a month or so, you have to start blow-drying straight the sections underneath the most visible hair as they will be curlier at the top, and bone straight at the ends. It does not make hair bone straight(which looks unnatural), so regrowth is not as visible.
