Persian miniature painting and mosaic inlay marquetry frame Polo scene framed.Modern handpainted (most likely 20th Century) painting in the Persian miniature style showing a landscape and polo players on horseback. The paper mount has a delicately painted border. Probably using gouache paint and ink. The frame has an inlaid micro mosaic design. There is some damage at the edge of one corner.Frame size 25.5 x 20.5cmGold accents and trim along with soft scalloped edges finish this plate of beautifully.
Backstamp - 'Provence' Tuscan Fine English Bone China Made in England dates manufacture c1947+.
