Petite Copper Colander/Strainer, Pair Small Planters & Pair of Brass Candlesticks

The petite copper colander / strainer with brass lion claw feet and handles. Item looks very elegant. Condition is second hand used with a nice patina. Two of the claw legs are slightly loose but seem secure. Handles are very secure. The petite colander / strainer measures 13cm (16cm with handles) by 8cm (please refer to the various pictures that forms part of the description). 

The stunning pair of plant pot / planters with handles. This planter appears to be of made of brass and is in a used condition. There is some tarnish to it, age related wear and tear, but that only adds to its character and nice patina. It can be buffed/polished in the future. Each planter measures 17cm by 11cm (please refer to the various pictures that forms part of the description). 

The pair of brass candlesticks have a ten star design at the base and more stars at the top near the flute, similar to those described as church altar candlesticks or processional torches. 

Description: 

• The candlestick is made of brass and features a tall, slender shaft. Each 25cm high and 8cm wide base

• The base is round and adorned with a pattern of stars, which appears to be inlaid or engraved. The felt on the base of one is missing

• The top of the candlestick includes a drip plate and a socket designed to hold a candle. Both appear to have six stars on each candlestick but some are blurred by extra brass

• These types of candlesticks are sometimes used in religious settings, such as churches, for altars or processions.
