PetSafe Outdoor Bark Control Unit. 

Whenever your dog – or your neighbor’s dog – barks, he will hear a safe, high-pitched sound (inaudible to most humans) that will cue him to stop his annoying habit.  Modeled to look like a birdhouse, the bark controller is battery-operated and has three settings plus a test option.  Our ultrasonic outdoor bark control unit looks like any ordinary birdhouse that can hang in a tree, on a fence post or anywhere outside.

I bought this on the 14th of May 2011 4because I have two little yappers and live in a small complex where each unit is separated by a picket fence. I am selling it because it seems to have solved the problem - so much so that it scares my little girl dog now hates it - especially when the neighbor's dog sets it off by yapping through the picket fence. 

So it is effective - just a little too effective for us.

Its still in great condition and its weather proof although I always brought it inside during rain.
