How to use

As a decoction: 1-2 teaspoons in 500 ml of water. Bring to the boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain. Divide the 500ml decoction into three separate portions and drink over the course of the day.

Raw, fresh elderberries contain cyanide producing glycosides and are therefore toxic when not cooked properly. These dried elderberries are perfectly safe however.
