Uses & benefits
As an infusion it can be applied to acne, minor burns, or used as a gargle for sore throats and a mouthwash for bleeding gums
Can also be applied as a cold compress to children's headaches
Said to be helpful in the treatment of haemorrhoids, for bruises and inflammatory swellings, sprains and strains, for diarrhoea, dysentery and mucous discharges

Witch hazel tea
Boil 1 teaspoon of loose dried leaves per 1 cup water for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool, strain and enjoy!
