Dixie Speckled Butter Pea
Dixie Speckled Butter Peas are particularly suited for warmer climatic conditions. It will set blooms and bear even in hot weather. They have a tall, upright habit and form sturdy, rich dark green bushes. The broad, oval pods are slightly curved and 7.5cm to 10cm long. The pods normally bear about 3 to 4 peas each. Peas are reddish-brown, speckled, small, plump, and almost round. Dixie Speckled Butter Peas are easy to grow and well-suited for the home gardener. It produces slightly better than White Dixie Butter Peas under hot, dry conditions. Grow in full sun, about 76 days to harvest.
