A very good hardcover book.
Gilt titling to spine bright with gilt pheasant vignette to lower front quarter.
Spine darkened, gilt titling faded but easily discernable.
Some minor wear to head and tail of spine.
Some rubbing to boards.
Decorated ends some splitting at hinges, paperblock is split at pp 32-33; 64-65 with that section standing slightly proud at the fore-edge.
Neat inscription dated June 1st 1888 to free paper following half title page.
