The Philodendron Pink Princess is a collector's dream. Its deep green leaves are splashed with pink variegation, giving it a look that feels both elegant and playful. Rare, beautiful, and surprisingly easy to care for this is one of those plants that always feels special.
Commonly known as :Â Philodendron Pink Princess
The Philodendron Pink Princess is one of the most sought-after philodendrons around, and for good reason. Each leaf is a work of art, with shades of green, almost black, and splashes of bubblegum pink. No two leaves are ever the same, which makes watching it grow an absolute joy.
Light:
These Pink Princesses love bright, indirect light. The pink variegation needs good light to stay vibrant, but too much direct sun can scorch the delicate pink patches. A spot near a bright window (but not in harsh sun) is ideal.
💧 Watering:
Water when the top 34cm of soil feels dry. This philodendron prefers a steady rhythm not too wet, not too dry. Overwatering is the quickest way to cause root problems, so always check before you water.
🌡 Temperature & Humidity:
Keep it warm and steady between 1828°C. Average humidity is fine, but a little extra goes a long way. If the air is dry, mist it or group it with other plants.
🪴 Soil & Repotting:
Use our Aroid Mix for best results, or mix Barks Unlimited Potting Soil with Perlite. Add Bark Chips to keep the mix airy. Repot every 12 years to refresh soil and give it space.
🍃 Fertiliser:
This plant is a steady feeder. Use Controlled Release Fertiliser every few months and supplement with an Organic Fertiliser during growing season to encourage strong growth and bold colours.
🐛 Pests:
Like other philodendrons, it can occasionally attract mealybugs or spider mites. Wipe leaves down and use insecticidal spray if needed.
The Pink Princess isn't just another houseplant it's a statement. Rare, vibrant, and always changing, it's a plant that keeps collectors hooked.
