PICKLING PEPPER
This pepper is ideal for home pickling. Each pepper grows to about 4 to 5 cm large. They are tasty with a bit of sweetness, and a cheeky after bite.
These are also ideal for stuffing as a starter, with a soft cheese, or anything else you enjoy. They make a great addition to cheerful salads. We also love to use them with savoury meals, add them to the start of all soups, stews, casseroles or curries, when you are sweating down the onions, add a few of these. Remove all pips for a mild flavour, leave the pips in if you enjoy more chilli heat.
As there are many factors that influence the heat factor of the chilli & pepper family, from climate, soils or water availability. Also the way each person perceives the taste of a chilli. One person will find these hot, (myself), while my husband adds X-hot habanero sauce to his dinner. Respect all chillies; handle them with gloves, especially people with sensitive skin.
These pepper plants have proved to be an easy to grow, easy to germinate. They were also sold under a different name previously, however we are not allowed to use that name.
These are also known as a sweet piquante Pepper
