Very good condition . 14 complete magazines well bound without covers in a handsome blue cloth folder with bright gilt on  atttractive gilt spine, purposely issued by Hulton Press for preservation of the first 14 issues of this  magazine for subscribers.  Preserved well since inception. Many photographs of Hitler, Neville Chamberlain, British society in the lead-up to war, period advertisments. Stefan Lorant, the editor, who had been imprisoned by Hitler in 1933 after being editor of one of Germany's finest picture magazines and therefore a prominent Jewish journalist and opponent.. An interesting contemporary record. Quite rare in this state. Contents clean and unfoxed . Clean original endpapers.
