THE GREAT UNSIGNED MUSOS CLUB is essentially a club for local musicians and lovers of local music, specifically geared towards original songs, and making them available on an accessible, equitable, and fun platform.

The primary purpose of the club is to uplift local musicians by ensuring that their music is ADEQUATELY exposed and ADEQUATELY rewarded. The rampant theft of music off the Internet has not only driven the record industry to its knees, but may eventually kill original music altogether.

 

The club has a unique method of getting music to its members. The essential difference between the way The Great Unsigned Musos Club distributes music, compared to other platforms, is that all tracks will be E-MAILED directly to members' personal e-mail addresses, along with essential artwork, lyrics and information. 

 

DON CLARKE : 

Don Clarke of South Africa is one of the country’s most successful and experienced songwriters.  He has had many of his songs recorded over the years by a diverse section of artists, including his reconciliation song “Sanbonani” which was a hit for P J Powers in 1986,  and currently writes most of the music for the films of Leon Schuster; South Africa’s most successful film maker.  Don has also written hundreds of jingles and at one time owned a commercial recording studio, several labels and a publishing company in Durban......
