Pierneef Museum acidfree paper envelope for Jacob Hendrik Pierneef Prints
These envelopes / covers are large and were used during selling of Pierneef Prints at the Pierneef Museum in Pretoria which closed down in the 1990s.
When a print was bought it was placed in such an envelope for transport. The practice ceased deur to limited envelopes - and prints were later sold as is.
I bought a quantity of these envelopes - acidfree paper and embossed with his signature as logo.
Size of envelopes: 53cm x 38cm approx.
